About the prize draw
The Missing Tittle Hunt is a free prize draw operated by Tittle T through TittleT.com.
A tittle is the dot above a lowercase letter “i”. During the prize-draw period, one tittle will be removed from a word somewhere on the Tittle T website. Eligible visitors who find the affected word can click it to open the entry form.
Finding and clicking the word allows a person to enter. The eventual winner is selected randomly from all eligible entries and is not chosen according to skill.
No purchase is necessary.
Eligibility
The prize draw is open only to people who:
- are aged 18 or over when they enter;
- are resident in the United Kingdom;
- provide a valid email address;
- accept these Terms and Conditions; and
- submit a valid entry before the closing time.
The promoter, anyone directly involved in administering the draw, and members of their immediate households may not enter.
Tittle T may ask a selected winner to provide reasonable evidence that they meet the eligibility requirements.
How to enter
To enter:
- Visit TittleT.com while the prize draw is open.
- Find the word containing the missing tittle.
- Click the word to open the entry form.
- Enter your name and email address.
- Confirm that you are aged 18 or over and resident in the UK.
- Accept these Terms and Conditions.
- Submit the form before the stated closing time.
Entry is free. Entrants are responsible only for their normal internet-access costs.
Only one entry per email address is permitted for each Missing Tittle Hunt. Using different letter cases, repeated submissions or other methods to circumvent this restriction does not create additional valid entries.
Entries generated by scripts, bots, automated systems, bulk-entry services or other improper means are not permitted.
Tittle T is not responsible for an entry that is incomplete, corrupted, delayed or not received because of an entrant’s device, connection or circumstances outside Tittle T’s reasonable control.
Opening and closing
The opening and closing dates for the current draw are stated at the beginning of these terms and in the relevant competition information.
Entries received before opening or after closing will not be accepted. The competition system’s recorded submission time determines whether an entry was received within the valid period.
Tittle T will not normally extend or shorten a prize draw. A change will be made only where circumstances outside Tittle T’s reasonable control make it necessary, and only where doing so is fair to entrants. Any change will be communicated clearly.
The prize
The prize is one standard Tittle T T-shirt from the normal product range, subject to the availability of designs, sizes and colours.
Personalised, customised and bespoke products are excluded.
The prize:
- has no cash alternative;
- is not exchangeable for money;
- may not be transferred or sold by the winner; and
- can be delivered only to a valid UK postal address.
If the advertised product becomes unavailable for reasons outside Tittle T’s reasonable control, Tittle T may provide a reasonable equivalent of equal or greater value.
Winner selection
Tittle T will normally conduct the draw within seven calendar days after the closing date.
The winner will be selected from all eligible entries using the Missing Tittle Hunt system’s cryptographically secure random computer process.
The draw system records the number of eligible entries, the selected entry, the date and time of the draw, and the administrator who conducted it.
Contacting and confirming the winner
Tittle T will contact the selected winner using the email address supplied with their entry, normally as soon as reasonably practicable after the draw.
The winner must respond within seven calendar days after the winner-notification email is sent.
The winner will be asked to provide:
- their choice of an available standard Tittle T design;
- their required size;
- their preferred available colour; and
- a valid UK postal delivery address.
Tittle T may request reasonable evidence of age, UK residency or identity where necessary to verify eligibility. Any such information will be handled in accordance with the Tittle T Privacy Policy.
If the winner:
- does not respond within seven calendar days;
- cannot be contacted using the supplied email address;
- is found to be ineligible;
- supplied materially false information;
- refuses the prize; or
- fails to provide the information reasonably required to fulfil it,
Tittle T may withdraw the offer and randomly select a replacement from the remaining eligible entries.
The original and replacement draws will remain recorded in the competition audit history.
Delivery
Tittle T will arrange delivery after the winner has supplied all required information.
The prize will normally be dispatched within 30 days after the winner has been verified and supplied their product choice and delivery details. If an unavoidable delay occurs, Tittle T will inform the winner.
The winner is responsible for providing a complete and accurate UK postal address. Tittle T is not responsible for a failed delivery caused by an inaccurate address supplied by the winner.
The winner will not be charged for delivery of the prize.
Winner information
To demonstrate that the prize was awarded, Tittle T may ask the winner whether they are happy for their first name and county to be published on TittleT.com.
Entrants may object to publication or ask for the amount of published information to be reduced by contacting support@tittlet.com before the closing date or when contacted as the winner.
Refusing publication will not affect the winner’s entitlement to the prize.
Where required, Tittle T may still provide information about the winner and winning entry privately to the Advertising Standards Authority or another competent authority to demonstrate that a valid award took place.
Tittle T will not require the winner to participate in advertising, photographs or other publicity.
Future-competition emails
The optional checkbox asking whether an entrant wants emails about future Tittle T competitions and prize draws is separate from entry.
Selecting it does not improve the entrant’s chance of winning. Leaving it unticked does not prevent entry.
Anyone who selects it can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in a future email or by contacting privacy@tittlet.com.
Personal information
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Tittle T Privacy Policy.
Information supplied for the draw will be used to administer the competition, check eligibility, contact and fulfil the prize for the winner, maintain an appropriate audit record, prevent misuse, and deal with complaints or legal obligations.
Fair administration and disqualification
Tittle T will administer the prize draw fairly and in good faith.
Tittle T may reject or disqualify an entry where it reasonably believes that:
- the eligibility requirements were not met;
- false or misleading information was supplied;
- the one-entry restriction was deliberately circumvented;
- an automated or fraudulent entry method was used;
- the website or entry process was manipulated; or
- the entrant otherwise materially breached these terms.
A prize will not be withheld for a reason that was not set out clearly in these terms.
Events outside Tittle T’s control
If an event outside Tittle T’s reasonable control makes it impossible to administer or complete the draw as described, Tittle T may make the minimum change reasonably necessary to protect entrants and conduct the promotion fairly.
Tittle T will communicate any material change clearly and will not use this provision to avoid awarding the advertised prize.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If an entrant lives in another part of the United Kingdom, they retain any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings that apply where they live.
